Aspire Nautilus Hollowed Out Steel Sleeve

Been vaping mouth to lung for over ten years now. the Aspire line of tanks are what helped me to decisively quit smoking because of the very close simulation to a cigarette. The glass tank that comes with the device breaks too easily. This one is sturdy, and has held up over several drops.  I've only bought another so i'll have a spare... Highly recommended!

Bought this so I would not have to worry about dropping! Love the design of it!!
Down falls - tank holds less juice and when attaching the bottom the rubber is larger than the container! So you have to push hard to get the rubber twisted on! Not happy with that!
I found I only use this container when I know there is a higher risk of dropping!
I would give it a 5 star if it was not for the down falls of this tank!

I love my Aspire Nautilus atomizer but was tired of finding replacement tanks when "I" broke them. After searching vape websites "Vapeshop" had the best price, S&H was normal and product arrived as discribed.

After many broken glass tanks, I bought this one locally and it's lasted a long time. While I haven't used this one I just bought, it's my spare in case something happens to the identical one I bought for way more money. I couldn't resist the price and the quality of this. Got it in the mail, and it looked so beautiful that I had to screw it right on. Quick rinse under the hot faucet and off we go… Big mistake! Ruined a tank full of flavor. It seems that unlike the Nautilus itself, these guys have a lot of machining residue on them, which is not that easy to remove even by scalding hot tap water. So… 10 minutes boiling with baking soda, rinse, then 10 minutes boiling in clean water; problem solved.

TL;DR: highly recommend this upgrade, especially if you're rocking your Nautilus on a "stick" mod (I use SvoёMesto Nivel). Also highly recommend rigorous cleaning before the first use.

I'm super clumsy and have broken my glass tank more times than I can count. I saw someone with the metal enclosure and had to have it! Just a side note, I ordered an extra glass because the title said "sleeve". This actually come with the glass in tact. Either way, great buy for a decent price. You only need one!

The hollowed out sleeve looks very classy and it provides an extra bit of protection for the glass tank of my Nautilus.  I love how it looks on my Apollo VTube 5.0. I don't tend to be clumsy and I'm very careful with all of my tanks and equipement but accidents can happen and the hollowed out sleeve fits the bill for when the unexpected happens.  I also like that I can still see how much eliquid is still in the tank and there is no more removable upper hardware.  All in all, I am pleased with my purchase.  Thanks VapeShop!

I think Aspire makes the very best tanks, and the Nautilus is probably my favorite in their lineup for MTL vaping. Of course, if you do use it all day, you're bound to drop it sooner or later & break the glass (yes, Pyrex, though sturdy, is not shatter-proof). The solution is to buy this cage, which comes soldered onto a replacement Pyrex glass. Not only will your glassomizer survive the test of time, it will look beautiful in the process! Make sure you order the right size - the Nautilus comes in 2ml and 5ml capacities, as do these hollowed out sleeves. If in doubt as to which one to order, do as I did: contact the VapeShop customer service & ask them to email you a link to the right product. Oh and BTW, this is my go-to store for all things vape - authentic brand names and low prices -- especially of you're a repeat customer and go thru the trouble to write product reviews...

I like the design, a more durable juice tank, appears to be more resistant to breakage on accidental drop than the Pyrex tanks. However the capacity of this unit seems much less than the Pyrex tanks.

I am clumsy so this thing really protects my tank! Great buy. Only 1 issue you gotta think when installing it. Had to call Vapeshop.com customer service for help. It was on me though not the tank.

I have put the hollowed out sleeve on all of my nautilus tanks (4) I like the added protection for the glass and it also gives me a good grip to unscrew it plus there is no top that will unscrew and leak.

I try to be careful to not drop my tank, but it has happen a few time, I am glad I have this sleeve, it has saved me from having a broke tank, and it really dresses up the nautilus, makes it look classy

It is strong and sturdy. I got this and the steel tank. The Nice thing about this one is you can still see your nicotine level. I just wish it was a little bit bigger. But all in all a great product.

So much better than the all glass tank. Yes, it's a little smaller, but so much easier to open to refill, it doesn't matter. Looks awesome too. Best part: ordered it Friday night - standard shipping - received it in Monday's mail.

Very nice and makes my rig look classy!  Works (of course), I'll probably pick up a spare!  If you drop yours a lot, this would be a good replacement.  

This will help protect the glass and looks good doing it. It comes with the top hardware already attached, which was a bonus to me.

I  broke my original pyrex tank after dropping it on a concrete floor at work. Sharp shards everywhere - not fun to clean up.  This sleeve is so much better!  Durable, looks great, and doesn't get "stuck" so tight on my battery.  With the original, I almost always had to get plyers to take off and refill.  With this one, that only happens sometimes.  Tank does seem to be a little smaller, but that doesn't bother me.  Great product!

This is cheaper than buying a new piece of glass for the Nautilus somehow.  It is way more durable than the standard tank and my wife loves the look on her mod.  TOOK FOREVER TO GET TO ME THOUGH!  If this would have came on time or even a few days after it was supposed to be here I would not have had to waste money on replacement glass at a B&M.  Disappointing.

After dropping my glass tank at work, (gasp) I decided I needed something more durable. This works for vaping. I haven't dropped it yet but I'm sure I will.
It seems to hold less juice but I carry a spare bottle now.

The Aspire Nautilus Hollowed out steel tank is a Great deal. Up to now I have used the regular pyrex tank, bot perform as you would expect. It looks cool and add a layer of protection from breakage. You get a lot for your money. These things go for around $70.00 at the brick and morter stores.  Love it.  

Love this tank design for my Nautilus. I dropped it at least once and it shows no damage whatsoever. Protects the glass really well and I love the look. No problems with threading or fits with the other pieces. It is literally plug and play.

After I broke my 1st glass Nautilus tank, I knew I needed a better solution.  The hollowed out sleeve is indeed a perfect item for my problem.  I drop my ecig a few times a week, usually on carpet, but it still takes a beating.  This sleeve provides the functionality and protection I need, and looks absolutely awesome.  My ecig sort of looks like a royal scepter now.  Thanks for the great product and good price.

I'm an absolute klutz and this thing is a must have. On Monday I dropped my device and the glass on my tank shattered into a shower of tiny pieces, I immediately ordered this and Friday morning my setup looks absolutely legit.

I thought it was going to be a rough week but in my panic and desperation I forgot Aspire provided a backup glass tank with the Nautilus. I still decided to order this because naturally, around me, it's days were numbered.

Only four stars because of the lower capacity, but it's really not a big deal.

As if my Nautilus didn't look good enough atop my Ltd Edition Eleaf Istick 30w (strongly recommend checking that page. The wood and porcelain ones are very nice) it looks even better. I actually thought it was just a slip on cover you put over the glass tank. Actually has the glass tank in it attached. Love that cause if this ever breaks I now have a backup glass. Doesn't look like that will happen though. Looks extremely durable.
   Will note that I verified the serial number with Aspire and it checked out. Same with my 2 Istick 30w. WOV had this to me 36hrs after placing my order and really do have the best prices on most items. Very fair shipping rates too.

Purchased the caged tank when moving to the Nautilus Aspire set-up as I don't trust myself with just glass LOL! This is a must have...sturdy, solid and looks pretty snazzy to boot.  
Some reviewers mentioned lower capacity on this versus the standard tank, but no complaints here.  I find that keeping about half full of juice works best as getting to 1/3 reduces the vape output and the tank gets a bit crabby.  P.S....excellent price!

Very heavy duty and cool looking tank.  The only drawback is the low juice volume of 2 to 2.5 ml vs. 5 ml on the glass tank.

I really love the looks of this, not to mention the protective function of the sleeve over the glass.  I dropped my original onto cement, and it shattered into a bazillion fragments, after feeling so sure I would be so careful with it!  Oops!  The worst part after trying to clean up the glass out of the rough cement was having to resort to using older tanks to vape with until the sleeve came!  Happily, WOV was on the ball and I got it in a couple of days!  Thanks guys!  Nice!

After breaking the glass on my nautalus, I ordered this metal and glass piece. Does the trick and should not break as easily.

The sleeves work as well as the stainless steel tank, but look sharp too! I have arthritic hands and things slip out of them all too often. Had it not been for the sleeve, I know the glass tanks would break. I had one of my old Nautilus tanks in the barn, dropped it onto the cement floor and it was fine.

Looks cool. Doesn't hold as much as my Pyrex but still great addition for any mod.

When I bought the Nautilus I also bought the replacement cage/tank.  This mod works great and protects the glass inside.  I recommend highly!

I bought the tank to replace my original nautilus tank that got shattered when I dropped it. I love it quite a lot more than the original. It's much better looking and definitely can take more of a hit(or drop).  As for negatives the only issues I had were that the original drip tip did not fit the replacement tank and the tank itself is quite a bit harder to drain and clean. Overall an amazing purchase for the price.

I was so glad to find this! The regular Nautilus tank looked so fragile. I feel better knowing I have the extra protection. It looks very nice as well.

I bought the replacement SS sleeve for the Nautilus, for two reasons..the "Look" and the safety..(can't break the Pyrex glass on the regular Nautilus).  Looks great, have it installed on an istick, silver...looks Great and it's real Classy for an Old Lady in this new Vape World.

Bought this because my original nautilus tube on inside of tank that screws onto the coils started to spin so it was hard to get my coils off the tube. Had to use a needle nose to hold the inside tube. Love that this sleeve comes with the inside tube. Works perfectly again now. I also bought one of the nautilus mini sleeves. Not only does this tank look awesome, it can take a beating. I care mine in my coat pocket, so it gets hit against things frequently. So far this little tank has survived everything I've put it through. And as always, WOV has the best price on the 'net...which is why I bought two!

Safer than just plain glass and looks good.

This stainless steel sleeve is the best, if your like me and drop your stuff from time to time.  This one will not crack or shatter because of the steel sleeve.  I must have.

Great product I work in a rough dirty foundry and I wanted something to protect my all glass aspire nautilus and this worked perfect. Easy to switch just unscrew the base with the coil and into this piece and its ready to vape 5 stars. Long live vaping

My Nautilus was starting to leak quite badly  . As it turned out, a new tank was needed. This was a perfect $10 remedy. I like the fact that, if I drop my unit, it is protected by the cage.

Even though is is mainly cosmetic, it looks so much better than clear glass plus some protection. Getting another base from Aspire for 2nd kit.

A much better alternative than the pyrex tanks. It's a lot easier to screw on and take off, and it as others have mentioned, the case doesn't stay slanted like the pyrex tanks.

So what it Holds slightly less juice then the original. But it doesn't ahatter. It's beautiful the design is intricate and fascinating. Interestingly it also fits better then the origjnal for ms. Awesome

I previously wrote a great review for this product, then a wick got stuck in it. This has happened to me with other tanks but only when i accidentally neglected to refill it when it got low. A vacuum is created and they get stuck, but with this one it was halfway full of my liquid and the wick got stuck. I had to take plier to it, and still cannot get the wick out. It's warped and destroyed now.

Couldn't ask for better service, price or delivery time.  Will definitely do business again and recommend to others!  

I guess I did not completely read the description and I was unsure that this thing came with a glass tube. It's the perfect size, it protects the glass against drops, and I got it at a great price here!

The second time i opened it to fill using only my hands the glass cracked, and it was never dropped. Just be warned that over tightening can and will either crack the glass then or when it is opened. R&D needed.

I'd bought my Nautilus from a local retail shop, only to find out it was a counterfeit. The main problem with good quality counterfeits is the inability to fit aftermarket metal sleeves to them, since the counterfeit stems/air tubes aren't always the exact same length as the genuine Nautilus ones. Thus I was sh** outta luck UNTIL I spotted this replacement with integrated stem/air tube. WOOHOO! This design does cut down a little on volume of juice it holds compared to the original all glass tube. But that's a small price to pay (not to mention WOV's small pricetag, very inexpensive) for the extra protection shielding the glass...

I've already dropped this on a hard tile floor... Whoops....And held my breathe while examining it for damage.... NO DAMAGE!! Not even a hairline crack!! So did a little happy dance and kept on vaping ;-)

It also looks a lot cooler than the plain glass Nautilus tube. Has been a real head-turner, fellow vapers all want to know what it is and where they can get one. So of course I point them here to WOV whose prices and speedy delivery, and always authentic genuine merchandise can't be beat. Ordered mine on a Friday afternoon, had it in my hands on Monday.

Icing on the cake for me is this unscrews and screws back on to the base a LOT easier than my (slightly crooked stem) original counterfeit did. My atomizer hasn't gotten stuck in the air tube stem even once since upgrading to this new tank/sleeve. All in all, a fantastic "must have" for any Nautilus user.

I expected nothing more than essentially a steel sheathed and consequently more sturdy and maybe cooler looking adornment for to replace the stock Pyrex sleeve.

My first surprise is that the chamber is shorter  and holds less e-liquid. That may have reduced my star rating because now I can't last a whole day without refilling.

So why did  I still grant 5 stars? Because for some unexplained reason it simply works better than the Pyrex sleeve. The coils last longer, the vape is more consistent and tastes better. All that while using the same base and mouthpiece that came with the original. Maybe the shorter size is what makes the difference. Whatever it is, I am pleased. I wish I did not have to fill it as often, but I cam live with that as long as I like the vape. To me, taste is everything, vapor production and throat hit are secondary, but those are also fine.
