I've been vaping for about 6 months after smoking for a decade. My first device, the Innokin iClick, was nice, but never gave satisfying clouds, even with high VG juice. On top of that, the plastic tank cracked, requiring me to patch it up with a ring of electrical tape that only stemmed the leakage a little. Rather than spending the money on a replacement tank, I decided to upgrade.
After seeing a few YouTube videos raving about the eGo One, I decided to take the plunge, especially after seeing the great price on WoV. I have to admit, I was a little nervous seeing it sold here for about $10 cheaper than most other websites, but I checked the authenticity code on the warranty card on the Joyetech website. Everything checked out fine.
Package arrived quickly (thanks, guys!). I loaded it up with my current favorite juice, Whit E. Octopus Pilar, primed the coil, and loaded up the tank. It was love at first cloud. I never expected to get such huge clouds, satisfying throat hit, and well-maintained flavor from a device this small. Seriously, the entire device except for the drip tip (BTW, the device came with a smaller aperture metal drip tip as well as a glass one with a larger opening) disappears in my closed fist, and I don't even have huge hands. It fits comfortably in my pocket next to my phone.
Battery life is great. I'm a heavy vaper, but I only have to charge it once a day, which is not a big deal. Do note that the battery will get a bit warm while it's charging. Even though you can smoke while it's charging, I don't think that I would. It only takes an hour to charge from empty to full. You can wait a little bit.
The only real downside I've experienced so far is that it's somewhat hard to fill, but either a syringe or needle-nosed bottle would fix that. If you don't feel like spending the coin on either of those solutions, just wipe down the opening with a cotton swab after you've filled it. Additionally, there's a little bit of a whistle when you inhale, but that's really a minor complaint.
Can't recommend this enough if you're looking for something that fits in your pocket but hits like a much larger mod. Look up some of the YouTube videos where they compare this device to other bigger ones if I haven't convinced you. You'll be surprised and quite pleased.
